Solidarity for Sustainability
NGO · Vilnius, Lithuania

Non-governmental organisation · Established 2023 · Vilnius

Digital skills, equal opportunity, sustainable habits — none of them work alone.

Solidarity for Sustainability works where sustainability, digital skills and equal opportunity meet — running non-formal education for young people, building the digital platforms that keep a project from disappearing when it ends, and connecting partners inside and outside the European Union.

01 — What we work on

Four threads, and they are the same thread.

Sustainability without digital skills stays theoretical. Digital skills without equal access widen the gap they were meant to close. We work on all of it at once, because in practice it arrives that way.

A — Sustainable development

Sustainability at the scale someone can act on

Sustainable living brought down to what a household, a classroom or a small organisation can actually change — including recycling chains built end to end rather than described.

B — Digital innovation

Digital literacy as green infrastructure

The platforms, the training, and the habit of putting knowledge somewhere it can be found again.

C — Gender equality

The same starting line, by design

Opportunities built so that women are not asked to travel, pay or negotiate their way to where others begin — and programmes that measure whether that worked.

D — Youth & employability

Non-formal education that ends in something usable

A skill, a network, a first project.

02 — How the work is delivered

  • Digital platform

Platforms that hold and share what a project produces, so the knowledge outlives the funding period instead of ending up in a final report nobody opens.

  • Recycling chain

Recycling built as a chain — collection through to reuse — so that participants see sustainability as a sequence of decisions rather than a slogan.

  • Online course

Courses designed to remove the three barriers we meet most often: distance, gender, and prior education. Free to enter, usable on a phone.

  • Live training

Workshops, training sessions and conferences held in person, because some of what we are after — trust, contacts, the nerve to start something — only happens in a room.

  • Partnership

Work carried out with established NGOs and companies from our network, so a small organisation can put a large delivery capacity behind a project.
